Four petrols and a diesel available, with the 1.1-litre good around town and the higher-rated 1.5-litre a bobby dazzler. The diesel is rather underpowered and clunky.
Great steering and control with a rather firm ride.
Some road noise and certain engines are noisy when pushed - the 1.3 petrol and turbodiesel especially.
Good kit at entry-level and running costs make the Colt a decent proposition on a budget.
Sturdily built and Mitsubishi have a good reputation for reliability.
ABS and front bags as standard, but you'll have to fork out for more kit.
Enough space for four and there's practical space in the back with a range of splitfolding options. The boot is on the small side.
CD player, electric front windows, remote locking and alloys as standard. Loads of cosmetic options are available.
Honda Jazz
Good kit, good space, engines are mixed bu the 1.1 is good fun.
Small boot and poor safety kit.
