2.4-litre petrol engine only delivers peak performance at high revs. Well-behaved in town, in transforms into a mad thing on the straight, with torque 'til tomorrow over six gears.
Handling and grip are superb. Slightly firm ride provides stability and agility around corners.
Plenty of engine noise, but that's forgivable. Take the top down at speed and you'll have a new hairdo in seconds.
High insurance, low fuel economy and cheap list price, relatively.
Superb build quality and divine inside.
Two bags and ABS as standard. Four NCAP stars
Plenty of space for two with a decent size boot, relatively speaking.
Electric roof, CD player, aircon, alloys and leather as standard.
BMW Z4, Chrysler Crossfire Convertible, Mercedes SLK, Nissan 350Z, Porsche Boxster
Great drive, great to look at, great price.
High running costs.

Fabulous car, great drive, just sold my 7year old S2000 for a good price having spent VERY little on it - only because it did not need it. Bought new, regular servicing was reasonably priced and insurance fair if you shop around. Ordering a new one within the month so I think that says it all!!!!
