Performance 
Underpowered at the bottom end. Bizarre 2.0-litre model with 4-speed box is just that. 2.0-litre turbodiesel provides more oomph.
Driving
Soft ride, steering a little light, inclined towards body roll when cornering.
Feel
1.6-litre petrol model registers disapproval if you're pushing it.
Price
Cheap at the price, with good running costs. Residuals should be OK, with the diesels as a better bet.
Quality
Robust inside and out. 3-year warranty on new vehicles.
Safety
Twin front and side airbags, ABS as standard. Not great for security though.
Space
Roomy inside, front and back. Modubox option can be unclipped removed. Rear seats can be completely removed to provide a massive 2,128 litres of space.
Equipment
Alloys but no aircon are standard. A raft of options are available, up to cruise control and electric sunroof.
