Some lower-end engines strain under pressure but the turbodiesel 2.0-litre and 1.6-petrol are powerful enough.
Handles and responds better than you might think. Power steering helps.
Noisy with lower-end engines or full-length sunroof.
Good mini-ish MPV at a lower price than many rivals. Resale value should be good too, and it's economical to run.
Tough interior, decent inside. Second-hand Berlingos are likely to have been worked hard.
One driver airbag as standard, with cheap-ish Safety pack comprising 3 more bags, ABS, brakeforce distribution. Optional deadlocks, no alarm.
Versatile and roomy. Huge rear loadspace, and enough room for 5 people.
No CD player at entry-level, only power-steering and electric front windows. Electric sunroof, foldaway Modutop trolley and aircon as options.
Renault Kangoo, Peugeot Teepee Expert
Spacious, easy to load.
Poor specs. Lower-powered engines are unimpressive.
