Ranging from a slightly underpowered 1.6-litre, to everyman 1.8T unit to 4.2 V8 offering enough power to drive across the North Sea. The 2.7-litre diesel offers sufficient power, with the 1.9 feeling underpowered and the 3.0 a touch on the thirsty side.

Driving

Handles well with 2- and 4-wheel drive models gripping firmly. Steering and feedback is a little light.

Feel

Generally quiet rides, though the diesel models shout a little when stretched. The top-line engines are as smooth as you'd expect.
