Suzuki benefits from scrappage scheme

Suzuki says it has more than 2,100 order resulting from the government's scrappage scheme, launched 18 May.
Under the scheme a new Suzuki Alto city car is available from £4,795 – £1,850 less than a new Alto cost in June 1999 according to Suzuki.
Road tax for the Alto is £35, fuel consumption 64.2mpg and insurance grouping from 1E, so running costs are low for the small car,
Suzuki also says it has seen a 'sharp increase' in sales of Swift and Splash models, available from £6,750 and Jimny compact 4x4 from £8,490 under the scheme.
Suzuki has a range of finance offers available on its models.
