Chrysler electric vehicles to be on the road by 2010

Chrysler will debut two of its ENVI electric vehicles at the Geneva Show in the shape of the Chrysler 200C EV concept vehicle and Dodge Circuit EV prototype.
Chrysler recently unveiled these two vehicles – along with the new Jeep Patriot EV, the updated Chrysler Town & Country EV and the updated Jeep Wrangler Unlimited EV – to demonstrate its commitment to alternative-energy vehicles.
And the company will bring at least two of these vehicles to the US market by 2010, according to Michael Manley, Executive Vice President – International Sales and Global Product Planning Operations.
That's assuming Chrysler makes it that far: a partnership with Fiat, buyout by a Chinese manufacturer and managed bankruptcy have all been mooted in the last few days as potential future for the struggling manufacturer, which is though to be close to running out of cash.
The Chrysler 200C saloon EV has a 40-miles electric range, and is capable of a 400-mile total driving range.
The Dodge Circuit EV has a range of 150-200 miles with zero petrol consumption and zero emissions.
