The award-winning Nissan Note, first introduced into the UK in March 2006, has received some major changes to the interior and exterior for the 2009 model, Nissan has announced.
Th new Nissan Note is the first car in their range that will feature 'Nissan Connect', a 2DIN fully integrated audio and satellite navigation system that uses a touch screen display to control the CD/radio/iPod and satnav system.
In addition, the combi-meter has been redesigned to provide improved visibility, and the interior trim has been upgraded.
On the exterior, the front of the Nissan Note has been redesigned with a new reshaped bumper, bonnet, streamlined headlights and new black finish to the grille, as have the 15 and 16 inch alloy wheels for the Acenta and Tekna models.
Improvements to the emission levels have been made - the 1.5dCi emits a CO2 level of just 119g/km, and provides an excellent 62.8 miles to the gallon. The 1.4 petrol model produces 139g/km of CO2 and 47.9mpg.
The new Nissan Note attracts a low insurance group which starts from 4E, or 10E if using the 50 point set.
NCAP have awarded the Nissan Note with a 4 star rating for adult occupancy, giving it an excellent level of safety.
Prices for the new entry-level Visia start at £450 less than the outgoing model, which mean that the new 2009 model Nissan Note can be bought for just £9,795 OTR.
The Acenta models start at £11,345 OTR, and the top of the range Tekna being available for £13,695 OTR.
