Lexus debuts RX 450h luxury SUV

Lexus has debuted its new RX 450h luxury SUV at the Los Angeles Auto Show, ahead of going on sale in Europe next summer.
The new-generation RX will be an all-hybrid range in the UK, with the RX 450h replacing both the current RX 400h hybrid and RX 350 petrol engine models.
The current RX 4500h returns 34.9mpg on the combined cycle and emits 192g/km of CO2, figures the 450h will certainly improve on.The RX 450h will get a larger 295bhp 3.5-litre V6.
Styling is remarkably similar to the outgoing models, though Lexus is hardly known for its daring designs.
Identifiable changes will include a new front bumper, 19" wheel option, blue-tinted headlights and tail-lights and optional LED headlamps.
Inside there'll be a hard-disc satnav system with voice recognition and XM satellite radio with traffic and weather info.
Further options will include a Mark Levinson audio system, dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive front lighting, adaptive cruise control and sports suspension.
