Skoda is releasing the new Superb GreenLine on 13 October - one of the few specialist low-emission saloons on the UK market.
Priced at £16,710, the Skoda Superb GreenLine is saloon that offers high fuel economy and low emissions. The 1.9-litre turbodiesel engine with a diesel particulate filter returns 105bhp and is mated to a five speed manual gearbox.
The Superb GreenLine emits a mere 136g/km of CO2 and returns 55.4mpg on the combined cycle.
Fuel-saving technology includes weight-reduction, longer gearing and engine remapping. Improved aerodynamics and low resistance tyres also help to shave fuel consumption.
The Superb GreenLine is a separate trim level and sits between the entry level S and the mid-range SE. Equipment above the S model includes sunset glass, cruise control, four spoke leather steering wheel, lowered suspension, small rear boot spoiler and tyre repair kit.
Chris Horrell, Product Marketing Manager at Skoda, comments: “The latest addition to our GreenLine range will be well received by customers seeking a more environmentally conscious vehicle in the upper medium sector.
“With growing interest in greener cars we expect the Superb GreenLine to attract retail and business customers seeking a vehicle which represents great value for money but does not compromise on quality.”
