New Porsche Cayenne S Transsyberia

The new Porsche Cayenne S Transsyberia - a road-going version of the racing Cayenne that has won the Transsyberia Rally three years running - will be available to buy as a production model following a debut at the Paris Motor Show next month.
Based on the standard Cayenne S, the Transsyberia is powered by a 400bhp 4.8-litre V8, while torque remains the same at 369lb-ft, and the 0-62mph an impressive 6.1 seconds.
The Transsyberia goes on sale in January 2009 at around £62,000 - a good deal heftier than the Cayenne S and GTS.
PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) and Porsche Traction Management (PCT) will keep the Transsyberia on the road , but you'll need an Offroad Technology Package if you want to go seriously into the rough stuff.
Silly stencils and sillier off-road fixed headlamps are available if you think your Transsyberia Porsche SUV doesn't draw enough attention to itself already.
