Mercedes has unveiled the new SLR McLaren roadster - a drop-top version of its superfast McMerc SLR 722 coupe.
The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S features a tweaked version of the supercharged 5.5-litre AMG V8 through a five-speed autobox that boosts power to 650bhp and torque to a ferocious 605lb-ft.
All of which means the SLR Roadster 722 hits 62mph in 3.7 seconds, before going onto 209mph.
The SLR is built in carbon-fibre and features a retractable roof, while Merc says the Roadster has been optimized for high speeds with regard to handling, acoustics and aerodynamics.
Mercedes says that conversation during open-air journeys is still possible at well over 120mph, though exactly what you'd be talking about at those speeds is debatable.
The roof is semi-automatic and closes in ten seconds, when unlatched at the windscreen frame.
The interior features new Alcanatra trim, plenty of 722 badging - a reference to Stirling Moss's 300 SLR from the Mille Miglia - and a new front splitter.
The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S will be available from January 1 2009 and cost around £370K.
