Peugeot ring in the FUEL, VED and CO2 changes this summer, with its unique Blue Lion vehicles that will provide a solution to the whole cost of living debacle that rages on.
The cost of motoring in the UK is spiraling. Zzzzzz….. Vehicle Excise Duty is going through the roof. Zzzzzzz. Fuel costs are rocketing. Zzzzzzzz. Tell us something we don’t know.
So Peugeot has.
And it’s pretty blue material. But saying that, you don’t have to shield the kids’ ignorant ears and cover their innocent eyes, as the only crude stuff refers to the petroleum-processed variety.
Peugeot wants all of you to know that its range of Blue Lion vehicles will save you a small fortune at the pumps and the Post Office, as all its vehicles with the economizing stamp of approval offer a combined fuel consumption of betwixt 56mpg and 64mpg and attract fuel duty listed as between £35 and £120.
The tax reduction can be placed fairly and squarely at the door of the car’s combined carbon dioxide output, which is contained within the 109g/km to 130g/km bracket.
And what Peugeot really wants us to stress is that unlike most other leading car manufacturers offering similar deals when drivers express interest in the smallest supermini’s and impoverished city cars, its Blue Lion package covers everything from a 107 supermini to the 308 SW.
And everything that falls between the two metaphoric stools, including the 107 Urban, Urban Lite, Urban 2-Tronic, Urban Move, Kiss and Sport in a selction of three and five-doors, as well as the 206 Look HDi in both guises, the 207CC in Sport HDi and GT HDi and the 308 in Urban HDi, S, SR, Sport and SE three and five-door forms.
In other words and numbers, something for everyone in 2008.
