Women worse drivers than men, according to new survey

If these results of a new survey of UK opinions on fellow motorists is anything to go by, an old woman driving a BMW minicab on a sunday is to be avoided.
The survey reveals that the public believe that men are better drivers than women; older drivers are worse than younger drivers; and van drivers are the worst menace on the roads. Meanwhile BMW drivers have the worst rep, closely follwoed by those in Subarus, Mercs and Land Rovers.
According to research from Auto Trader 40% still believing that men are better than women; old drivers are the worst (100%), followed by young drivers (83%), van drivers (82%), taxi drivers (70%) and bus drivers (30%).
‘Sunday drivers’ classed as the worst type of driver, followed by ‘rush-hour drivers’ (46%).
Auto Trader will launch a Great British Driving Challenge at this year’s British International Motor Show to find the worst drivers.
