For those who like to point at futuristic vehicles and ask “Will cars be able to communicate with traffic lights?", "Could driving emissions-free vehicles ever be fun? and "Will traffic jams be consigned to the past?”, Volkswagen may have the answers with its brand new web presence.
VW's developers and designers have attempted to find automotive solutions for 2028 posers in the forms of the ‘One’, ‘Ego’ and ‘Room’. This trio of ‘how future VW cars may appear’ concepts constitutes Volkswagen's vision of the motoring world of tomorrow.www.volkswagen2028.com is the Wolfsburg-based car manufacturer's very own bold - and informed - vision of what driving might be like 20 years from now, and is encapsulated by a short interactive film that introduces VW fans to the 2028 world of a father and his son, the former explaining what the automotive landscape looked like in 2008.The website combines classical film sequences with 3D effects, while a “talk to us” feature giving users the opportunity to share their comments and create their own individual information packages for downloading rounds off the www.Volkswagen2028.com offering.
