Low emissions is the name of the game at the at British Motor Show (BIMS) as the Peugeot lays down its biggest environmentally friendly players.
Peugeot is using the forthcoming (BIMS) soapbox to big up its current climate-aware model range. Peugeot is drafting in every green-specific model from its latest 107 KISS SE – with its £35 per year road license disc in the windscreen – through to the riotous 308 RCZ Concept.
With interest in the 308 RCZ Concept – and its lightweight carbon-fibre double-hump roofline that alludes to low-drag aerodynamics and resultant emissions of just 160g/km CO2 – set to soar once the show gets under way, Peugeot will provide would-be car buyers who long to get up close and personal the opportunity every hour, on the hour for the Motor Show’s entirety, as Peugeot reveals the 308 RCZ Concept. And re-reveals it to new gasps.
The recently-announced 207 CC ELLE Special Edition is displayed in two of the magazine-readers’ chosen favourite colours and colour interior specification.
Aside from eco-warriors, girls and concept car enthusiasts, the more petrol-headed of Peugeot’s fans are catered for by way of a ‘design interpretation’ of the 207 GTI THP 175. Which has scissor opening doors and some natty leather interior going on.
In a refreshing move, Peugeot is also providing a ‘free water bar’ for all visitors, next to its ‘Environment zone’. Inside the ‘zone’, a number of environmental displays promote the company’s ‘Blue Lion’ standards with exhibits that include the futuristic 308 Hybrid Simulator.
