Pictures of the new 2009 BMW 7-Series luxury saloon, due to be unveiled at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, have been leaked to the internet.
The images show an exterior that may find more favour with BMW enthusiasts than controversial chief designer Chris Bangle's previous efforts, with plenty of BMW DAN in evidence around the 7-Series.
The front end has an undeniable 6-Series element, while kidney grilles and Hofmeister kink are also in evidence. A more conservative back end has also been added, eschewing the more controversial rear design seen on recent large BMW models.
Inside there are gadgets aplenty, centring on the next-generation iDrive infotainment system. A BMW 4.4-litre twin turbo V-8 through seven- and eight-speed automatic transmissions seems most likely at the moment regarding engine options.
