New Jeep Patriot comes with host of bling-worthy accessories
Published: 04 June 2008
With more accessories than the cast of Sex and the City could muster between them, the Jeep Patriot will certainly know how to turn Compact SUV buyer's heads when it struts its stuff in the suburban sprawl in the coming weeks. Flashing a new range of traffic-stopping accessories, the £15,995 Jeep Patriot is now every 20 inch alloy the real deal, going as far as to offer attention-seekers the ultimate ride.
You can now spec the Mr Big of the predominantly concrete-assembled Compact SUV world with a £999.00 Startech SE Exterior Package that comprises of a chrome grille insert and front and rear under-ride bodykit that serves to look the drive-on part when complete with sports suspension and 20” rims. An exhaust tailpipe cover and and Startech logo vinyl for the 4X4's rear add the necessary gravitas to proceedings.
Yet the accoutrements don't come to a scene break there, as Jeep Patriot owners can also flash £1,199.00 for the SE Lifestyle Interior Package that revises its role on the off-roader's inside. In as much as it steals an otherwise drab presentation by empowering a leather effect centre armrest cover, a quadruplet of chromed loudspeaker frames, a chrome gearshift gate, a leather gear knob and an array of leather effect treatments for door panels and the instrumentation panel.
If all this doesn't float your boat (and no, Jeep aren't offering an inflatable-under-chassis as part of any none-existent Aquatic Package) then you can go that step further by acquiring illuminated entrance panels, aluminium pedal pads, more aluminium be-bedazzlement for the dashboard fascia and door locking pins. Not to mention a choice of either 19” or 20” Monostar IV five-spoke alloys to get you noticed.
And finally, if you're a firm believer in putting some 'go' with your 'show', then the Startech PowerXtra Performance Module ups the power in the 2.0-litre Jeep Patriot oil-burner by 40bhp and is yours for £999.00.
Startech accessories for the 2008 Patriot will be readily available in UK Jeep showrooms from the beginning of June.
