New Volvo V70 R-Design models announced

Volvo's sport-orientated R-DESIGN religion will find a new believer in the shape of the V70 estate from this month, with the minimum donations starting from £26,745 – for the V70 2.0-litre petrol - gratefully received by the Swedish car manufacturer.

Followers of Volvo's R-DESIGN philosophy - as already witnessed on the C30, V50 and XC90 - will be under no illusion as to the way in which lowered suspension, shout-out-louder alloys and R-DESIGN motifs will help you see your V70 in a whole new light.

With the first of the R-DESIGN Volvo V70s set for arrival in UK dealerships this August, the new styling in the ultimate estate car is evident from the off.

Stiffened anti-roll bars and bushings and a lower ground clearance will deliver R-DESIGN V70s from the evil of unresponsive steering, while sitting snuggly on 18” Cratus alloy wheels and lording it up with silver door mirrors, chrome exhaust pipes, a colour-matched rear spoiler and a smattering of R-Design metalwork on the grill, will help to convert many.
