In the latest of a frenzy of bizarre mods, Italian coach-builder Aznom has trumped the Jaguar XF by Arden and MINI Clubman by AC Schnitzer with its own MINI Clubman S Chateau - a car featuring a wine cellar that appears to be made of wood.
The Chateau will be limited to a run of twelve - presumably to be bought by Bond-esque wine connoisseurs with an eye on practiaclity - and does actually feature wooden trim and a shockproof wine 'cellar' that can hold six bottles of plonk.
The interior features admittedly beautiful aged gaucho leather and Alcantara trim to match wooden trim in the cabin.
Outside the paintjob combines brown and gold paint with wood detail, while 18-in TSW ‘Pace’ alloy wheels are shod in 205/40 Yokohama S-Drive rubber.
Each of the 12 cars will have their owner’s name printed on a numbered plaque.
The Chateau MINI is not dissimilar from the unfortunately-named Woody Wagon - recently revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. See gallery for more details.

Suicide doors, overpriced options and retro styling may suggest that the MINI Clubman will struggle, but high desirability, low CO2 and a fun drive will keep customers interested.
