Mazda steps up its inter-car safety testing procedures

The Mazda ASV-4 is the Japanese manufacturer's advanced safety vehicle which talks to other cars and is presently being put through vigorous paces. Almost like the Dr. Doolittle of the automotive community, Mazda's novel communicative system provides driver alerts of which the world will hardly believe.
By engaging in advanced dialogue with another vehicle in the vicinity courtesy of these vehicle-to-vehicle prompts, the Mazda ASV-4 – currently in the throes of public road testing – informs those vehicles also employing the futuristic assemblage of any envisaged trouble ahead. And therefore hopefully avoiding it.
In real terms this could – and should – lessen the likelihood of multiple vehicle collisions at notoriously blind junctions and rear-enders with further trials taking place over the course of the year.
This process is calculated to tie-in with current Japanese government legislation that's moving toward the implication of an Advanced Safety Vehicle (ASV) Promotion Plan that effectively leads to the continued development, practical application and broader usage of ASV technologies by automotive manufacturers.
