All-new Honda Accord Tourer collects international design award

The Honda Accord Tourer estate has been awarded the esteemed 2008 Red Dot award for High Design Quality.
The Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen – as one of the world's leading automotive design competitions - honours those manufacturers who are deemed to have originated something worthy of celebration during the past 12 months, choosing the all-new Honda Accord Tourer for its innovative production, general appearance and focused appeal.
With upwards of 3,000 nominees having been pushed into the spotlight, with judges mulling over some 11 categories not limited to automotive product design.
The Accord Tourer's 'Red Dot' pendant will mark a triumvirate of embellishment for Honda, having previously scooped the award for its S2000 in 2001, repeating the same feat with its Civic in 2006.
The Accord Tourer will arrive in UK showrooms in September this year.
