Maserati to debut GranTurismo S

Maserati will unveil the GranTurismo S at the Geneva Motor Show in March - the Italian firms' purest driving machine.
Powered by a 440bhp 4.7-litre petrol V8 - a 35bhp power hike - through an electro-actuated gearbox with fast MC-Shift, the GranTurismo S also uses a Brembo-developed brake system. The uprated system utilises front brake discs made with a dual casting of cast iron and aluminium, paired with aluminium mono-bloc 6-piston brake callipers. All of which means you accelerate and brake very quickly.
Outside the Maserati GranTurismo S is characterised by a number of tweaks designed to make the GT S coupe sportier without compromising the Pininfarina design.
The interior is upholstered in Poltrona Frau leather and Alcantara, while front and rear bucket seats are distinguished by horizontal piping on the seats and seatbacks.
No word on pricing or availability yet, but details are sure to come to light in March.
