
The Peugeot Bipper Beep Beep Concept

Peugeot will launch the Bipper ´Beep Beep´ Concept van at the Bologna Motor Show prior to the Bipper´s UK launch in May 2008.
Powered by a 1.4-litre 70bhp diesel engine with Diesel Particulate Filter system through a 5-speed electronically-controlled manual gearbox, the Beep Beep Concept shares the same colour scheme as the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP: matt black sides, red bonnet and roof and a white stripe running lengthways along the vehicle and special gold-tinted windows.
Fuel consumption is 62.7 mpg on the combined cycle, with CO2 emissions of 119 g/km. 313mm-diameter brake discs at the front and black 18” alloy wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 225/45 R 18 tyres.
The production version of the Peugeot Bipper van will be on the UK streets in May 2008 powered by a 75bhp 1.4i petrol engine or 70bhp 1.4HDi diesel engine, with a load volume of 2.5 m3 and payload of 610 kg.
The Bipper is Peugeot´s iteration of the van produced in partnership with Citroen and Fiat. Citroen´s Nemo and FIat Fiorino will also be launched in 2008.
