The Nissan Pathfinder Mammoth - yours for £28K


Nissan will launch two special editions of the Pathfinder and Navara to be known as ‘Mammoth’ in 2008.

The vehicles are priced at £27995 OTR for the Pathfinder and £16995 OTR+VAT for the Navara. Mammoth is popular California mountain holiday resort.

The Pathfinder features a roof-mounted rear DVD player with a 10.2" drop down screen and wireless headphones. that can be used as a portable unit away from the vehicle.

A specially-tuned BOSE stereo system with its 10 high performance speakers and digital amplifier, unique to the Pathfinder Mammoth, tunes out the sound of the kids in the back.

Other standard equipment includes DVD birdview satellite navigation, colour reversing camera, Bluetooth® mobile phone connectivity, cruise control, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, roof rails, side steps, rear privacy glass, xenon headlamps, front fog lights, leather upholstery with heated front seats and 17 inch alloy wheels.

Safety features comprise Nissan’s ALL MODE 4x4 system which includes a low ratio gearbox, downhill drive support (auto only) plus Electronic Stability Program and driver, passenger, front side and curtain airbags plus active front headrests .

The Pathfinder Mammoth comes in a choice of four colours: Flint Grey, Emotion Red, Metallic Black and Arctic White and is supplied with special California Sports Adventure floor mats as well as a Mammoth Sports Adventure rear badge.

An accessory package includes a fixed towbar with single electrics and a towbar mounted bike rack that holds two bikes, designed to simply fix onto each other without the need for any special tools. Priced at £500 fitted.

Navara Mammoth

Navara Mammoth comes in double cab form and is available with six-speed manual transmission.

The equipment list includes dual zone climate control air conditioning, CD auto changer, cruise control, auto headlights, rain sensing wipers, C-Channel load anchorage system, driver and passenger airbags, 17inch alloy wheels, roof rails and front fog lamps.

The vehicle comes in a choice of four colours: Metallic Black, Storm Grey, Emotion Red and Arctic White.

Pathfinder and Navara Mammoths will be available in Nissan dealerships from mid December onwards.
