Nissan GT-R leaks prior to Tokyo debut

It may not make its official debut until next week´s Tokyo Motor Show, but the new Nissan GT-R has been all over the net like a rash over the weekend.
Much in the same way as a budget is unlikely to remain a secret before the Chancellor steps up to the despatch box, photos of a new cars have a tendency to be mysteriously released prior to their debut. And when they´re this hot, it´s easy to see why.
The 2009 GT-R - known in Japan as the Skyline - will be powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 that produces a massive 473bhp and develops masses of torque up to 434lb-ft through four-wheel drive and a six-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The 0-60 sprint is completed in 3.5 seconds before the GT-R tops out at 192mph.
Guesstimates at pricing range between £40,000 and £65,000 when the GT-R goes on sale in autumn 2008.
