Man builds helicopter from scrap metal and old Honda Civic engine

A Nigerian man has built his won DIY working helicopter, using cannibalised parts from a Boeing 747, seats from a Toyota and the engine of a 133bhp Honda Civic.
Mubarak Muhammed Abdullahi, a physics student, created the helicopter in his spare time, using money he´d earned from repairing computers and mobile phones.
Mubarak decided to build the helicopter after he decided that it would be easier to build than a car.
Controls include a joystick for steering, an accelerator lever to control ascent and descent and a small camera connected to a screen on the dashboard.
The chopper can fly for a few minutes at head height.
As the current model lacks the instrumentation to measure air pressure and altitude, Mubarak has decided to build an improved model, which "will be a radical improvement on the first one in terms of sophistication and aesthetics."
Those Honda engines just keep going eh?
