Volvo V70 and XC90 lead classes for predicted residuals

Volvo has announced that the V70 and XC70 models have been announced ‘best in class’ for future residual values by CAP and Lex.
The news means that the Volvo models should be worth more on the used market than their nearest competitors.
After 60,000 miles both CAP and Lex forecast that the Volvo V70 D5 SE will be worth 49% (£13,600) of its original OTR price of £27,995, ahead of the Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series.
CAP puts the all-new Volvo XC70 ahead of rivals predicting that it will be worth 49% (£15,100) of its value after three years, with Lex forecasting a value of 48%.
“The residual value forecasts reflect the excellent used car prices the current estates have achieved, together with an increase in value because of the significant step-up in style, driving dynamics, functionality and quality evident in the all-new Volvo V70 and XC70,” commented Volvo Car UK’s corporate sales and leasing manager, John Wallace.
Volvo is hosting a series of Freedom events which will be taking place every weekend throughout August at various exclusive locations throughout the country.
Potential customers to get behind the wheel of the all-new Volvo V70 and XC70 for a series of 30 minute unaccompanied test drives.
