SEAT appoints Duncan James as brand ambassador

Duncan James – one of the blokes from Blue – has bought a SEAT Leon and he wants everyone to know about it.
According to SEAT, James ‘approached SEAT to become a brand ambassador’, which reads suspiciously like ‘approached SEAT asking for a free car in return for a bit of cheap publicity, having been turned down by Audi and BMW’.
“I’ve always been a hot hatch fan and have previously owned a Volkswagen Golf R32, which was great,” enthused James. “A friend was looking to buy a Leon so I went along for a test drive – I thought it was fantastic.”
James goes on to describe the Leon Cupra as ‘very cool’, which he ‘really enjoys driving’ before concluding ‘I love it!’
The SEAT Leon Cupra delivers 237bhp and a top speed of 153mph, sprinting to 62mph in 6.4 seconds – all for £19,695.
Following Blue, James went on to appear on the National Lottery Show, GMTV, City Hospital and Dancing on Ice. He’s now appearing in the West End as Billy Flynn in Chicago.
“I’m going to be spending a lot of time in Covent Garden over the next few months, so I’m sure lots of people will see me driving to work in my Cupra!” gasped James.
