TV wildlife expert Johnny Kingdom is promoting the new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
Johnny, who lives on Exmoor and is a renowned wildlife photographer and documentary maker, said: “In my line of work you never know what each day will bring, where you might need to go and how quickly you might need to get there.
“Having a suitable vehicle for both on-road and off-road travel is essential as you only get the one chance to capture the image that you need and the Wrangler fitted the role perfectly.”
The new Jeep Wrangler boasts a new 2.8-litre diesel model and is priced from £17,995.
The Wrangler is available as a two-door, or long-wheelbase four-door Wrangler Unlimited version. Both versions retain removable full-framed doors and fold-down windscreen with a removable hard-top.
The ‘Freedom Top’ is a three-piece modular hardtop and features separate left- and right-front passenger roof panels that can be removed and stored in the vehicle, together with a rear section that can also be removed.
There are also a handful of Jeep Wrangler ‘Rubicon’ models with a 3.8-litre petrol engine.
Peter Lambert, Managing Director of the Chrysler Group UK, said: “This new model is a significant step forward from the old vehicle, as it offers a diesel auto engine for the first time, a choice of two-door and four-door models, much better road manners, reduced noise levels, a host of safety features and an all-new interior with space for five adults and their luggage.”
