Ron Fellows edition Corvette Z06 heads to UK

Corvette has released a limited amount of Ron Fellows edition Corvette Z06 models to celebrate the Canadian racing driver’s contribution to Corvette racing.
33 of the cars are heading to Europe out of a limited run of 399 special editions. Six will be available in the UK with Ron Fellows’ autograph priced at £69,185.
The Corvette is available with Arctic White paint, double Monterey Red Metallic stripes with Machine Silver borders and 10-spoke aluminium wheels.
Red seats, console, door trims and instrument panel and carbon-fibre “tech” pattern interior trim plate constitute interior bespoke features.
The Ron Fellows edition is based on the Corvette Z06, with a 512bhp V8 engine. The car sprints to 62mph in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 199mph.
“Ron Fellows is part of Corvette’s racing heritage and he has been instrumental in the remarkable success of the Corvette Racing team in the American Le Mans Series,” said Ed Peper, Chevrolet general manager.
“The special signature-series Z06 model that bears his name will forever link him to one of the greatest eras in factory racing, which has produced six consecutive ALMS GT1 manufacturers’ championships, and counting.”
