UK driver totals £800,000 Bugatti Veyron

Priced at £850,000, the Bugatti Veyron is powered by a W-16 1000bhp engine, is capable of more than 250mph and can go from 0-62mph in an astonishing 2.5 seconds. Until you smash it into a ditch.
The unnamed owner of this Veyron was reportedly driving at speed before encountering a patch of water following rain, whereupon the Veyron - despite its AWD - spun and careered into a ditch.
The driver was, somewhat unsurprisingly, a 40-something businessman. No-one was hurt in the crash.
The crash constitutes the first official public Veyron totalling.
