Rolls Royce cars have built 25 very special new cars which have already been allocated to fans of the brand all over the world. Named the Phantom Black, they are hand built and represent the best in Rolls-Royce´s exquisite design, engineering and craftmanship, and emphasise the Phantom´s impressive performance and dynamic character.
High lustre metallic Diamond Black paint graces the bodywork and is complemented perfectly by twin silver coach lines. 21" alloy wheels come fitted along with high performance Goodyear run flat tyres and unique black detailing and centre caps with RR badges, engineered to stay upright even at speed. At the back of the Phantom Black, visible tail pipes hint at the car´s performance.
Under the bonnet, there lurks a 6.75 litre V12 engine, treated to gloss black inlet manifolds, chrome plated top covers and new black Rolls Royce badgers. The mtor provides 453bhp which can propel the Phantom Black from 0-60mph in just 5.7 seconds and up to a limited top speed of 149mph.
Black leather upholstery is nothing less than you´d expect, edged with seashell piping. Black ash wood veneers are used throughout and a silver pinstripe adorns each door capping. With the dashboard finished in special black metal foil with a finely embossed diamond design, the interior is as special as the exterior.
Boasting a slightly thicker rimmed steering wheel the Phantom Black is powerful and dynamic. Graeme Grieve, Sales and Marketing Director, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said, "Phantom Black uses a number of new Bespoke finishes and materials to create a contemporary car that blends aesthetics and engineering, emphasising the dynamic character of the car."
