Are you ready to show your support for England during the World Cup?
If you want to go one step further than sticking little flags out of your window, or plastering your car with stickers and the like, you might be interested in this.
From May 15th, England fans will be able to purchase ´06´ or ´51´ series ENG number plates from DVLA personalised registrations.
The ´51 Eng´ has been designed to represent Englands 5-1 victory over their oldest enemies, and World Cup Hosts Germany in 2001. The ´06 ENG´ series represents this year´s tournament. If you want one of these exclusive plates you can have a any two available letters to complete your registration eg SG51 if you´re a big fan of Steven Gerrard, or DB06 ENG if Captain David Beckham is your man.
Louise Pierpoint who works as the Publicity Manager for DVLA Personalised Registrations said "The five-one win was arguably England’s finest moment since winning the World Cup 40 years ago. More and more people seem to choose number plates to celebrate something good in their lives so why not use them to get behind the England team. Rooney or no Rooney, we’ve got a great team that is capable of going all the way to the final."
